OneAtlas is Airbus's satellite imagery platform, offering access to high-resolution geospatial data and intelligence tools for researchers, developers, and industry professionals worldwide. As part of a competitive pitch, Vanksen was tasked with creating a dedicated showcase website designed to communicate the full scope and beauty of OneAtlas's capabilities. I was responsible for the full UI design and creative concept, with a clear ambition: transform a highly technical product into a sensory, human-centered digital experience.

The brief called for something far beyond a standard product page. The platform needed to make satellite technology feel accessible, awe-inspiring, and relevant to a broad audience, from machine learning researchers to agricultural specialists. The objective was to design an immersive experience that would shift the perception of geospatial data, presenting it not as cold infrastructure, but as a new and profoundly beautiful way of understanding our planet. Every design decision had to serve that emotional reframing while maintaining the credibility and precision expected from a brand like Airbus.

The creative concept was built around three core experiential principles: immersion, interaction, and motion. The hero section was designed as a fully interactive environment, where satellite imagery elements respond in real time to the user's cursor movement, creating an immediate sense of depth and tactile engagement that signals a premium, unconventional experience from the very first second. As users scroll, a parallax system deepens the sensation of moving through layers of landscape and data, drawing them further into the content with each interaction. Slow-motion video sequences capturing nature from above served as the emotional anchor of the experience, transforming aerial footage of rivers, forests, and coastlines into something almost meditative. A dark, cinematic palette, clean editorial typography, and carefully art-directed satellite photography completed a visual language that balances technological precision with genuine wonder.

The concept delivered a showcase experience that reframes how audiences perceive satellite imagery technology. By leading with beauty and interaction rather than technical specifications, the design creates an emotional entry point into a complex product, making OneAtlas feel relevant and compelling to a much wider audience. The project demonstrated how immersive design thinking can elevate a highly specialized B2B platform into an experience that resonates on a universal, human level.
