Schiltz & Schiltz is a Luxembourg-based law firm specialising in business law, innovation, and regulatory compliance. As a firm built on precision, trust, and forward-thinking legal expertise, they needed a digital presence that could communicate all three qualities simultaneously. This project was developed as part of a competitive pitch, in which I was responsible for the full visual concept and UI design of their new website, from the initial creative direction through to detailed interface design in Figma.

The core challenge was to design a website that feels genuinely premium without feeling cold, and authoritative without feeling inaccessible. Law firm websites have a reputation for visual predictability: dark suits, marble textures, and interchangeable layouts. The objective here was to break that pattern entirely, creating an experience that projects Schiltz & Schiltz as a modern, human, and forward-looking legal partner while maintaining the gravitas and credibility their clients expect.

The creative direction was built on a deliberate tension between stillness and movement. The overall design is minimal by intention: generous white space, strong editorial typography, and full-bleed photography that commands attention without overwhelming the content. This restraint creates an immediate sense of confidence and precision. Against that calm foundation, a system of fluid wave animations was introduced throughout the interface, appearing in underlines, decorative elements, and page transitions. These organic, flowing shapes give the site a subtle but persistent sense of life, preventing the minimalism from tipping into coldness. The hero headline pushes this concept further: key words within the main title cycle continuously with a smooth looping underline animation, transforming a static statement into a living, breathing expression of the firm's identity. Every interaction was designed to feel effortless and intentional, reinforcing the idea of a firm that operates with quiet confidence.
Lunera
The proposed concept gave Schiltz & Schiltz a digital identity that stands apart from every other law firm in the market. By combining disciplined minimalism with carefully choreographed motion, the design communicates a clear and compelling message: this is a firm that thinks differently, moves with precision, and brings both rigour and humanity to every client relationship. The project is a demonstration of how motion design, used with restraint, can transform a static interface into a memorable and distinctive brand experience.
